You’ll join a small, agile R&D team of five engineers, working together to scale and enhance our existing system. You will be central in shaping the user experience and back-end architecture, ensuring high quality while maintaining a deep understanding of our end-to-end product.
SUMMARY
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer focused on developing server-side services in Go and NodeJS.
What You'll Own
Strongly contribute the back-end implementation (80% focus) using written in NodeJS and Go - ensuring clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Collaborate closely with a 5-member R&D team to scale and improve our existing platform, contributing to front-end services (20%) built on Go (CLI) and React (WebApp).
Architect and design front-end components that interact seamlessly with a microservices-based backend, influencing both front-end and back-end architectural decisions.
Maintain a keen eye for front-end performance, accessibility, and responsive design best practices.
Uphold coding standards, participate in code reviews, and help define best practices that foster a healthy engineering culture.
Communicate complex technical ideas effectively in English, collaborating with team members across various disciplines.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
5+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years focusing heavily on back-end engineering at scale.
Proven expertise with Node.js (TypeScript) for back-end development, including exposure to microservices and relational databases like PostgreSQL, as well as in-memory data stores such as Redis.
Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS, IAM) and an understanding of how to integrate cloud-based solutions into back-end systems.
A strong foundation in software architecture and design principles, with the ability to influence system-level decisions.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
A passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
Don’t forget to mention if you have:
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and cloud environments (especially AWS).
Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and containerized application delivery.
Familiarity with OpenCypher or other graph database technologies (e.g., Neo4j).
